Syndicate is the most challenging game I've played recently. Nothing come close to it. Normal difficulty in Syndicate is like Veteran difficulty in CoD games. It requires pure determination to beat the game and good judgement on when to use the weapons in your inventory. Online Co-Op is not related to the story mode but it's excellent and a nice addition to the game. Once you finish 1 map in Co-Op you can upgrade your abilities for the next map. The game becomes more accessible once you upgrade your character to the max.
Technical side of the game is a mixed bag. The graphics are okayish overall Unlike the Sound FX and the audio design which is fantastic. Everything from firing to explosion sound effects are well done and realistic.
I recommend this game for the Online co-op fans and especially Starbreeze studios fans. It's totally worth it.

This game is a blatant copy of deus ex, do yourself a favor and replay that game. I could almost forgive the bland gameplay and predictable plot line if not for the fact that the game is wholly broken. You get one save game file. Anything goes wrong and you're back restarting the whole campaign. In my campaign I made it to the final chapter, extremely quickly, and found myself with the "death" screen upon loading. Trying to restart from there goes into a runtime error, but about 1 in every 5 attempts loads the game, in which case I have no ability to shoot my gun, aim, run, use any attacks, or really do anything but die. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.
